About our collective:
Who Are We?
What We Do
The Women of Colour Collective is a community space and we aim to address the impact of race, gender, sexuality, class and other factors on the lives of Femmes of colour across campus.
We also have a mission to end discrimination through education, as well as enhance the awareness of mental health issues on campus and provide a safe space where we can offer help, advice and support.
We are a society with intersectionality as our core belief and we act as a space for students to come together and collaborate as a community. We also aim to educate those on campus about our culture, beliefs and history through our exciting events!
We aim to be a society that offers events for every type of person, whether you want to party hard, learn something new or simply hang out and relax!
We hold amazing socials including meet-ups, parties, SU and Medicine nights.
Education is a big part of our society so we host inspiring talks and panel events with incredible guest speakers.
We also hold creative workshops and collaborations to give our members the chance to try a wide range of activities.
